Which flame detector can replace Honeywell C7012?
The entire Honeywell C7012 flame detector series has been discontinued (both the sensor and its components) and can be replaced by Honeywell C7061 detectors. In most cases, this requires changing the amplifier, so it is necessary to know the controller used to determine the correct amplifier. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us!
What is the difference between Honeywell C7035 and C7027 flame detectors?
C7035 flame detectors are more versatile in case of replacement or cell failure, as they allow replacing the UV lamp or sensor tube 129464M and 129464N. C7027 detectors offer higher IP protection as they are sealed (the lamp cannot be replaced; in case of failure, the entire cell must be replaced). In terms of temperature, both series have similar operating ranges.
When should the C7061 flame detector be used instead of C7027/C7035?
When the furnace or burner operates continuously for more than 24 hours, regulations require equipment to be self-checking. The C7061 cell, together with its corresponding amplifier, is designed for this application.
What is the Siemens equivalent of the Honeywell C7027 flame detector?

What should be done in case of flame detector failure?
Most of the time, when a flame cell or detector stops working, the issue is the UV lamp or sensor tube. Honeywell C7035 and C7061 detectors use models 129494M or 129464N (depending on temperature).
Siemens flame detectors depend on sensitivity. QRA2 and QRA10 use AGR450211310, while QRA2M, QRA10M.C, QRA53/55, and QRA73/75 use AGR450240650 lamps.
Siemens QRA4.U and Honeywell C7027 detectors are sealed. In case of failure, the entire cell must be replaced.
